honda germany gives the service intervalls for the shadow and the x 1300 (no more available since 2006) with 12k km = 7.5 miles with normal oil!!! double with synthetic. (service interval x 1800 = 8k km) k&n avertise their oilfilter with up to 80k km = 50k miles! i guess, i can't be that wrong.
