When I wanted more memory I moved to the PIC18F26K83. Unfortunately I then had to upgrade to the v2.0 of the compiler. If the CCS compiler has not been updated to 64 bit, there's no way it will run under MPLABX 5.50. I'd recommend downloading MPLABX v5.35 and trying under that.
