This trait grants a chance for the player to have immunity against the zombie virus, making them immune to infections and able to survive bites from zombies without getting infected. However, immunity diminishes with each use of the trait.

TL;DR: use disinfectant on infections, use clean/sterlie bandages all the time. It does help to disinfect first AFAIK, I always disinfect before treating my wounds however I don't think that it is necessary all the time. AFAIK just make sure the bandages are clean and also the wound isnt infected, if infected make sure you sterilise it. The biggest problem with deep wounds is that they can’t just be bandaged. You must do a few things before you can bandage them. To stitch the wound, players need a needle and a thread. A suture needle can be used to stitch a deep wound.
