Previously to FiOS, I had Time Warner, and was a big fan of their Turner Classic Movies on Demand. I guess there's little chance of FiOS ever offering that, since I believe Turner Broadcasting is owned by Time Warner. Unfortunately, my issue isn't with the individual channel / broadcasts and whether they're in HD or not. So far it appears that 99% of the on-demand content I watch (HD) is 5.1 surround sound. My issue is the movies, the new releases that Verizon is presenting with on demand. NONE of those in HD have 5.1 surround sound.
