I am in the Lost Cities and I am on hard mode without changing anything in the configurations, but there are no parasites spawning, even when there are parasite spawners. The thing is, there is no real armour cap. For certain damage numbers you can have enough armour to reduce that incomming damage by the max of 80%. The issue is that, with the new parasites in the lost cities, you don't reach that 80% reduction because they simply have too much damage, and thus armour is still very beneficial.

The wiki for S&R:P doesn't apply to RlCraft, since in RlCraft has internal balancing. In 2.9.1 you need to multiply damage from S&R:P wiki by ~ 4 to get the damage you will receive in RlCraft. In 2.9.2 this multiplier has gone down to 3 due to multiple changes in S&R:P to try and maintain the balance.Lost Cities + Silver armor. I've never been to the lost cities, but maybe you could try spectral arrows, splash glowing potions or use the wisp's ball.
