End result, the sensors in the back needed to be replaced. It hasn't happened since. 2016 Outback 3.6R + Eyesight + Nav + Moon Roof.I know the ML 350 turned off all it's back up safety features when trailer is connected. Subaru installed the wiring harness and hitch. I would think that once the vehicle recognized a trailer was connected to the wiring harness, it would automatically turn off the RAB and Parking Assist. Or at least I hoped it would.Yep. The RAB harness and a few other things need to be disconnected for the hitch install. You can follow the relevant portion of the instructions to see where it's located so you can plug things back in.
