It broke about a half an inch from where it connects to the throttle lever. It is a mid 80's 310-8. Can't remember exact year, would have to look. Aug 17, 2020 · No need to remove the pto pulley. Remove the 2 bolts holding the brake pad on. Then the belt will come off. To put the brake back on apply the pto. Place a business card between the brake pad and the pto bell. Hold it tight and tighten the bolts. Release the pto and remove business card. Ready to go.

There are two wires one to the lights one to charge. They travel in a plastic sleeve from the engine to a connector.
