During the first 3 or 4 months in 2018 first released P365's had defective metallurgy with outsourced MEM strikers. They were covered under warranty and situation was resolved. Now the "urban myth" continues. The first thing everyone asks or states about their 365 is the date of Mfg. It's almost an obsession.P365-380 So many issues for me. Born on date for the pistol is November 26, 2018. Put 250 rounds through it without any issues. Upon cleaning and inspection I noticed my recoil spring had popped out of place. Ohio. The 365 XL feels amazing in the hand and has a host of features I want, but I’ll be damned if I want something that has feeding issues. Just trying to see if it’s just a few guns or the whole lot. So, I have read hundreds of posts on problems with P365's. For each problem, Sig seems to have implemented fixes. Living in Kalifornia, I am limited to buying one of the very few used P365's that can legally come into the state. So I need to know at what Manufacturing Date the P365 problems have been resolved.

I get a misfire every 4th or 5th round or random. Striker tips can break on any handgun regardless of make or model. SIG had a bad run of them early in P365 production but that problem was licked a long time ago.
